Theme Selection: Profile Style Preset
This dropdown is your “foundation layer.” Pick a preset first, let it save, then customize on top
without turning your profile into a Vegas billboard.
✅ What “Profile Style Preset” does
In the Theme Selection section, you’ll see one main control:
Profile Style Preset.
This applies a full preset (a bundled style) to give your profile a clean starting look.
Choose a preset first → wait for Saved → then tweak Background and Colors.
📸 What you should see on your Settings page

🎨 What a preset usually changes (big-picture)
Think of a preset like a “starter kit.” It mainly aims to make your profile feel consistent.
After you pick one, you can still change your Background, Colors, Typography, and more.
- Base vibe: dark / light / neon / retro feel
- Card & widget look: how panels/boxes feel (clean vs glassy vs bold)
- Contrast: making text readable by default
- Accent style: how buttons/links “pop” (subtle vs loud)
If you later change a specific setting (like a color), your choice can override the preset.
🧼 What “None” means
None means “don’t apply a preset.”
Your profile can still have other saved settings (Background/Colors/etc.)—this just removes the preset layer.
🧭 The safe workflow (no chaos)
- Open Theme Selection
- Pick a Profile Style Preset
- Wait for Saved
- Go to Background (image + overlay if needed)
- Go to Colors (change only 1–3 things at first)
Change one thing → wait for Saved → then change the next thing.
🧩 Preset options (based on what you see in the dropdown)
These are the preset names shown in your Profile Style Preset dropdown.
Pick based on vibe first. You can fine-tune later.

🧱 How to customize on top (without billboard mode)
- Keep one accent color. (One “pop” color is enough.)
- Keep blocks neutral. Let content panels stay readable.
- Use overlay for busy images. If text is hard to read, increase Background Overlay Strength.
- Add effects later. Get the base style right first.
🧯 Troubleshooting (most common issues)
-
“I picked a preset but nothing changed.”
You probably already have saved Background/Colors/Typography that override the preset. -
“It changed, but it looks weird.”
Your background image might be dominating the vibe. Try increasing overlay, or test with no image. -
“It looks different on mobile.”
Mobile can crop/zoom backgrounds differently. Check Mobile Background Fit Mode and Mobile Focus Point.
🔄 How to reset (simple)
- Set Profile Style Preset to None → wait for Saved.
- If it still looks “styled,” it’s because other saved settings are active (Background/Colors/etc.).
- To fully clean-slate, set other styling fields back to None/Auto where available.
