SSS Social Networks + Stream Guide

Help Center – Social + Stream Links + Twitch Goal: easy to find you

Social Networks + Stream

These pages do two simple things: Social lets you add your social links (so people can find you off-platform), and Stream lets you add your Twitch username (so your stream can show on your profile).

Where to find these pages

  • My Profile Social (Social Networks)
  • My Profile Stream (Twitch stream box)
Quick rule:
If you don’t want to share a network, leave it blank. Nothing is forced.

Social Networks

What you can add (based on your screen)

  • Twitch
  • YouTube
  • Patreon
  • Discord
  • ArtStation
  • Instagram
  • Twitter
  • Facebook

How to add your links (simple)

  1. Open My Profile Social.
  2. Pick a network (Twitch / YouTube / etc.).
  3. Paste your full profile link (include https://).
  4. Click Save Changes.
Don’t paste usernames here.
Social Networks links should be full URLs. (Usernames are for the Stream page.)

Copy/paste examples:

Twitch: https://twitch.tv/yourname
YouTube: https://youtube.com/@yourname
Instagram: https://instagram.com/yourname
Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/yourname
Facebook: https://facebook.com/yourname
ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/yourname
Patreon: https://patreon.com/yourname
Privacy tip:
Use public accounts you’re comfortable sharing. If you want to keep something private, skip it.

Small note you might notice

On some builds, the Social page may also show a small “profile features” block (like mood/counter). If you already set those in Profile Info, just leave them – they’re the same idea, just shown in another place.

Stream (Twitch)

Stream settings page showing Twitch Streamer - Username field and a Twitch Stream preview area

What this page controls

  • Twitch Streamer – Username – your Twitch channel name (not a URL).
  • Twitch Stream – Preview – shows what the stream box will look like when a username is entered.
Important:
Stream uses your username only (example: simplysoundadvice) – not https://twitch.tv/...

Stream setup (quick)

  1. Open My Profile Stream.
  2. Enter your Twitch username (no spaces, no full URL).
  3. Click Save Changes.
  4. Refresh your profile page if needed and check the stream box.
Example:
If your channel is https://twitch.tv/YourName, your username is YourName.

Troubleshooting (fast fixes)

  • Social links don’t show: make sure you saved, and you used a full URL with https://.
  • Wrong link opens: recopy the platform’s profile URL (don’t paste search pages).
  • Stream preview says “NO STREAMER USERNAME ENTERED”: enter a username and save.
  • Stream still doesn’t appear: double-check spelling and remove spaces; then save again.
  • Want to remove a link/stream: clear the field (leave it blank) and save.
Best practice:
Keep Social links clean and simple. Add your main 2-4 networks and leave the rest blank.
